This site supports activities at New Mexico Tech’s Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center (EMRTC) and its Playas Training and Research Center (PTRC), Institute for Complex Additive Systems Analysis (ICASA), and Institute for Engineering Research and Applications (IERA), as well as at the Big Crow Program Office at Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB). The Las Cruces team performs management and engineering studies and analyses related to the development of emerging technologies in such diverse areas as homeland security, homeland defense, energetic materials, electronic warfare, laser field testing, electromagnetic radiation effects, space environmental effects, system and component vulnerability/survivability in electromagnetic and nuclear environments, nuclear/environmental phenomena, microelectronics technology, and microelectronics obsolescence and diminishing manufacturing sources of supply solutions. The Las Cruces Office also provides its clients with on- and off-site support in the areas of computer systems and information technology, computer graphics and website development, program management functions, research studies and analyses, strategic planning, and marketing. |
